Frequently asked

How long does a Medusa migration from Shopify Plus take?

For a single-store catalogue under 5,000 SKUs, expect 8 to 12 weeks from kickoff to launch. Multi-region, multi-currency, or marketplace adds 4 to 6 weeks. We scope this upfront with a fixed price.

What does ongoing cost look like vs Shopify Plus?

Shopify Plus runs around £2,000 per month before transaction fees. Medusa is self-hosted, so infrastructure is roughly £150 to £400 per month depending on traffic. The calculator in the PDF shows your real 3-year picture.

Do you work with non-UK brands?

Yes. Most of our headless commerce work is for UK and EU brands, but we have shipped builds for clients in the US, Australia, and the Middle East.

What if we already have a development team?

We work alongside in-house teams often. Either as the lead build partner with hand-off, or as a Medusa specialist embedded in an existing team for a defined scope.
